1. Who we are

The Trading Circle operates tradingcircleeducation.com and thetradingcircle.org.

2. What this policy covers

This policy explains what personal information we collect through tradingcircleeducation.com, why, who receives it, and what rights you have. Our Discord server and any third-party platform you reach from here are governed by their own policies as well as this one.

3. What we collect on this site

3.1 Server logs

Our web server automatically records standard request data each time a page is loaded:

• IP address
• Date and time of the request
• The page or file requested
• Browser type and version (user-agent)
• Referring page, where the browser sends one

We use this only to operate the site, diagnose faults, and protect against abuse. We do not use it to build profiles of visitors. Logs are rotated and deleted automatically within 30 days.

3.2 Fonts loaded from Google

This site uses the Playfair Display, DM Sans and DM Mono typefaces, served by Google Fonts. When your browser loads a page it requests those font files from Google’s servers, which means your IP address and user-agent are disclosed to Google as part of that request. This happens on every page of this site.

We receive nothing from Google in return and this is not used for advertising by us. Google’s handling of that request is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.

3.3 Search

The search box on this site runs entirely in your browser against a list of page titles built into the site. Your search terms are never sent to us or to anyone else, and are not logged or stored.

3.4 Automated and AI processing

Nothing on this education site is processed by AI — it is a static site with no accounts, no submissions and no automated analysis of visitors.

Separately, in our Discord server we use automated systems including an AI language model to read messages in certain channels and compile summaries from them. If you join the Discord, that is described in the privacy policy on thetradingcircle.org. No automated decision is made about any individual.

4. What we do not collect or use

• No cookies. This site does not set cookies of any kind. That is why you see no cookie banner — there is nothing to consent to.
• No analytics. No Google Analytics, no Tag Manager, no Plausible, Matomo, Clarity, Mixpanel, Segment, or Hotjar.
• No advertising or social pixels. No Meta pixel, no TikTok pixel, no conversion tracking.
• No cross-site tracking, fingerprinting, or behavioural profiling.
• No browser storage. We do not use localStorage, sessionStorage, or IndexedDB.
• No account, login, newsletter, or payment collection on this site.
• No affiliate links on this site, so no affiliate networks receive referral data from here.

5. We do not sell or share your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are used under California and other state privacy laws. We do not disclose it to data brokers.

6. Who else is involved

We may also disclose information where required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

7. How long we keep things

Server logs are rotated and deleted automatically within 30 days. We do not maintain a database of visitors to this site.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing.

To make a request, email thetradingcircle.help@gmail.com or use our contact form. We will respond within 45 days, and will tell you if we need longer. We may need to verify your identity. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Because this site collects almost nothing and keeps no visitor database, in most cases the only record relating to you is a short-lived server log entry.

9. Do Not Track

We do not track visitors across websites or over time, so there is no tracking for a Do Not Track signal to switch off. We honour Do Not Track by default because we do not track at all.

10. Children

This site is not directed to children, and you must be at least 18 to use our Services (see our Terms of Use). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we learn we have, we will delete it promptly — tell us and we will act.

11. Security

This site is served over HTTPS, and access to the systems that hold any personal information is limited to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Where we operate

We operate from the United States and our servers are located there. This site is intended for a United States audience. If you access it from elsewhere, your information will be processed in the United States.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Changes are posted on this page with a new “last updated” date, and material changes will be announced on our Services. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
